PA-3 Plasma torch Atomization Equipment(PA)
PA-3 Plasma torch Atomization Equipment is developed to produce the commercial pure titanium and titanium alloy powders, metallic alloy powders, refractor metal powders and other alloy powders, widely used for Selective Laser Melting, Electron Beam Melting, Laser Powder Bed Fusion, Laser Direct Energy Cladding, Hot Isostatic Pressing and other advanced manufacturing fields.
Plasma Torch Atomization is a process with pure metal or alloy wires as raw material. Its main principle is through a number of coaxial arrangement of plasma generator ejection of plasma jet along the axis direction of continuous feed wire for instant heating melting and impact crushing, broken metal droplets in the argon atmosphere flying cooling solidification, to obtain spherical metal powder. The production is processed in an argon atmosphere and the melted wire does not contact with any solid surface, thus ensuring the high purity of the powder product.
Ø The melting process is non-contact melting to ensure the powders are high pure.
